So after going back to the hospital last night and finding that I was NOT leaking amniotic fluid, we came home and went to our regular doctor visit today. After looking at oiur options, we booked an induction for next Tuesday, May 22, 2007. That is, if I don't give birth before then. After having the routine exam, we found that I am currently 1cm dilated, 50% effaced, and the cervix is anterior. Also, the doctor scratched my membranes in hopes that it would get labor started. Hopefully we can get these things going in the next day or so, but otherwise it will be next week for sure.
I am now excited!!I wasn't before, although it was from fear of labor (which is still there) but I am ready for the challenge!!
